Product: The E-Factor Diet
Creator: John Rowley
Overall Rank: 50/100
My E-Factor Diet review is structured in a way that will provide you with an overview of what the product is followed by my views on it.
The E-Factor Diet is a very well marketed product that has managed to develop a lot of hype.
There is nothing special about it and you’d do better spending your money elsewhere.
Either way, I have provided a detailed overview of each section of the E-Factor Diet for those of you who are curious to know what it is all about.
Check out these free resources that will provide you with the same, if not more, value than the E-Factor Diet.
About The Author
John Rowley is a bestselling health and fitness author.
He is the mind behind other popular health products as well. (Old School New Body is one such example).
Rowley claims to have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, SmartMoney, and Martha Stewart but I was not able to find any record of this online.
He is not an accredited professional.
“The secrets of fat loss used by celebrities and athletes have finally been revealed. With just one small payment of $47 you will get access to a program that will provide you with a revolutionary technique to lose 20 pounds, become ripped, and feel 10 years younger! All in just 3 short weeks!”
Marketers make exaggerated claims because they seem to sell.
You are probably thinking:
“I would never fall for that BS.”
You may not, but there are millions of lazy people who do.
We are a generation obsessed with instant gratification. We want success with minimal effort.
The truth is that the E-Factor Diet will not provide you with any “groundbreaking tips”.
What the E-Factor Diet will provide you with are guidelines for eating healthy broken down into a straightforward process.

The program requires that you follow 4 simple rules:
- Eat as much protein as you want.
- Eat as many vegetables as you want.
- Drink all the water you want.
- Stay away from foods to which you are intolerant.
The E-Factor Diet gets its name from the 4 E’s:
- Energetic Foods
- Endothermic Foods
- Enzymatic Foods
- Enjoy Every Meal
John starts off by mentioning that a traditional diet will have your energy levels drop drastically. The E-Factor diet has you eating foods that will sustain your energy levels as well as have your body prioritizing to use fat for fuel.
Endo refers to the endocrine system, i.e. hormone producing glands.
Thermic refers to fat burning.
John claims that by consuming endothermic foods, fat burning hormones are initiated and your body burns more calories during digestion.
Enzymes are substances that aid your body in digestion.
Apparently, enzymatic foods help your body fully utilize the nutrients in the foods you eat.
John mentions that enzymatic foods will be your best friend when it comes to losing weight.
Enjoy Every Meal
The final ‘E’ is just what it sounds like.
John claims that with the E-Factor diet will not be forcing you to eat foods that you don’t enjoy.
Now, you might be wondering:
What are actual examples of these types of foods?
The specific types of foods in the E-Factor Diet are mentioned in the Grocery Guide and the Meal Planning Blue Print.
The rest of the book is a mix of motivation and information.
John writes about his story and how he got started in the health industry, about the power of habit, about lessons he learned in life, etc.
In between he gives some examples of energetic, endothermic and enzymatic foods. He writes about how your body responds to them and why they will help you get to your goals.
2. Quick Start Guide
The Quick Start Guide is a 15 page eBook.
It starts off with a to-do list of actions that you must complete.
Some actions include:
- Writing out your short and long-term goals.
- Why you want to achieve those goals
- Planning out meals for the week
The rest of the book outlines when, what, and how much to eat, along with some sample meal plans at the end.
3. Weight Loss Handbook
The Weight Loss Handbook is a very short 5 page eBook.
Fat cannot be lost, it has to be used.
He explains that the body prefers using glucose to body fat and that the most important principle of fat loss is to control carbohydrate intake.

The Grocery Guide is a short list of approved sources of protein, vegetables, fruit, carbohydrates, fats, and condiments that you can consume through The E-Factor Diet .
You are also provided with a list of foods to be cautious off.

The Meal Planning Blueprint breaks down the macronutrients of what you will be eating for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
How much percent of your meals will consist of fat, protein, and carbohydrates.

He does this for each of midday and nighttime meals.
Next, you are provided with methods of how you should calculate your daily macronutrient intake
The final part of the Meal Planning Blueprint lays out a couple of sample meal plans.

Storing body fat is a survival mechanism.
It helped our ancestors live longer in times without food.
When you are dieting, your body begins to adjust and you can experience fat loss plateaus.
This is where cheat meals come in.
Going all out once a week while dieting will maintain your metabolism and help you to avoid fat loss plateaus.

My Final Word on The E-Factor Diet
All the information offered in the E-Factor diet can be found for free online. This program is not revolutionary. All this referral to endothermic and enzymatic foods is mainly for marketing. My rating of the product is based on the value of materials you get access to.
The community aspect can prove beneficial.
